Gospel: Mark 6: 1-6
Jesus went home. But, he wasn't at home. In spite of his powerful
teaching, his family and old friends met him with scepticism. So, he
went back out on the road to serve the surrounding villages.

Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) (Year B)
Gospel: Mark 14: 12-16, 22-26
During the Passover meal, Jesus instituted the Eucharist. He took a meal that
celebrated the liberation of Israel from slavery (an event in the past) and
transformed it into a meal that looked forward to the Kingdom.
